Insurance and Building Remediation

A Winning Structure Remediates Damaged Structures

The Challenge

Working with insurance and building companies involved in damaged structure claims can add complexity to an already challenging environment. Following a natural disaster in a remote location, we were engaged to undertake an assessment of a facility to determine the level of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) contamination and the subsequent level of risk.

The Solution

A team of highly-skilled asbestos assessors were deployed to the site to establish the extent of the damage and the risk to public health. Of which, a summary report was compiled promptly within days of engagement to expedite the claims processes for the client, and to address all relevant stakeholders of the risk involved.

We evaluated the site and provided clarity for the client, insurance company, and the builders – which was critical for the resumption of business (and life) as usual.
